Upcoming HTC Phones 2014: Rumored One Max 2014 Edition Will Finally Take On Samsung's Galaxy Note 4, Boasts 5.5" QHD Display, Snapdragon 805, 3GB RAM

Last year, we all thought the last device coming from HTC will be one of a kind and would take on the competition. We were wrong. The Taiwanese manufacturer was content with a midrange phablet that boasts a 5.9-inch display, Snapdragon 600 chipset, the same UltraPixel 4MP camera and a fingerprint scanner at the back.

However this time around, rumors are already claiming that one of the upcoming HTC phones for 2014 will be the best HTC smartphone we will see.

According to a report by Phone Arena, a published report coming out of China claims that the new HTC One max (2014) or whatever the company wants to call it, will be a lot more powerful.

In the report, the upcoming Android phablet would boast a smaller 5.5-inch display, but pack an impressive QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution. Other rumored specs include the latest Snapdragon 805 chipset from Qualcomm, finally a 3GB RAM, and quad-core CPU clocked at 2.7GHz.

To make things even juicier, the One M8 max is also rumored to boast an 18MP primary camera and powered by optical image stabilization. The phone could boast the same front speakers and build design as this year's One M8 flagship.

Other alleged specifications include a 3,000mAh battery, Sense 6.5 UI and Android L out of the box.

Of course none of these details are official, and so we better take these with more than a pinch of salt.
