Faking It Season 2: Episode 2 Recap; Shane And Liam Get In A Row

Things have been getting hotter as "Faking It" season 2 progresses.

We've only seen two episodes of "Faking It" season 2 so far but already, the intensity is building up.

After catching Liam and Amy on the act in the premiere episode, the former continues to get bombarded with new drama as the second episode was aired.

Liam and Shane, who have always been the best of friends, got into a feud. What started as a mild argument brewed into something more serious. Shane felt that Liam was putting him aside, in favor of the new guy at school Theo.

At a bar, the two got into a fight, which Liam blamed Shane for. But not only did he put the latter on the hot seat for the altercation they went through, his pent up anger surfaced. Liam was unhappy about Shane keeping Karmy's secret.

Liam argued that Shane was siding with Amy but the latter negated.

In an interview with TVLine, Michael Willet, who plays Shane on the show, shared what fans can expect from the new season and from his character in particular.

"Shane ends up confronting Karma about all of the drama she's created," Willett hinted.

As for Shane's friendship with Liam, Willett shared that the complicated situation Liam and Amy got themselves in would take a toll on most of the characters.

"It challenges everyone's relationship," he explained. "There are new trust issues between Liam and Shane, so they'll have to patch those up. Shane's confidence also gets challenged; he starts to think, 'Maybe I don't have all the answers. Maybe I shouldn't be doling out this advice." You're going to see some cracks in Shane's armor, for sure."

As for Shane and Lauren's rivalry, Willett shared that it's something people should watch out for as "Faking It" season 2 unfolds. "They remain frenemies. Shane hates her as much as he loves her," he said.

"Faking It" season 2 airs every Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. on MTV.
