Rihanna James Bond news has surfaced that the popstar might land a major role as the next James Bond girl.

In a Rihanna James Bond news report by Hollywood Life, Rihanna was reportedly offered to play the role of the next sexy "Bond Girl". The upcoming movie is said to be entitled "Bond 24", which will still star British actor Daniel Craig.

One source said, "There have definitely been discussions of her joining the cast to be a Bond Girl. But she will not be the most focused Bond Girl if she gets the part. It will be more of a glorified cameo."

The source added, "Something that they have done in the past with people like Madonna, it will be a brief part of the film if she ends up making an appearance. They are actually looking for her to do the theme and the role would just be an added bonus."

Although Rihanna might not play a starring role in the next Bond film, which is set to launch in November 2015, it is very likely that one of her songs will be included in the official soundtrack.

At the moment, Rihanna has very limited acting experience. She had a funny cameo in the movie "This Is The End" as well as a small part in "Battleship" in 2012. She played a crewmate and weapon specialist aboard a vessel alongside Taylor Kitsch.
