‘Interstellar’ Movie Final Trailer [VIDEO] Released! Film Almost Three Hours Long! Earth Becomes One Big Desert Forcing An Evacuation! Robots, Warp Drives And Alien Tsunamis Spotted In Sci-Fi Event Of

"Interstellar" promises to be the biggest Science Fiction movie of the year, bar none. The Christopher Nolan opus released its trailer and some of the best elements have been spotted. The epic will last almost three hours, but the audience may end up wanting more!

More than a month before its release on November 7 (November 5 on IMAX), there are already indications that this movie will be the longest Christopher Nolan has made. Cinema Blend has the details:

"..the Matthew McConaughey-starring cinematic opus of space (and possibly time) travel will be 169 minutes long, which translates to 2 hours, 49 minutes of mind bending meditation on the human condition. It is also Christopher Nolan's longest movie by 4 minutes, beating 2012'sThe Dark Knight Rises for the title. Of course, this is all still unconfirmed by the studios co-producing this film, so this could be subject to change."

The source they cited was an Australian movie site, Event Cinemas, which clocked the movie at 169 minutes.

Why does the movie take that long? Well, there are a lot of elements seen in the trailer.

Cinema Blend lists them down:

Robots: A walking robotic helper follows Matthew McConaughey and it was identified as "TARS" which possibly means "Terrain Assistance Robotic Service."

The Earth becomes one big desert and that forces the evacuation mission. Images include the dust storms from the stadium and the drying out of the Earth. CB discusses: "Possibly the most dire sign of the environment's state in this trailer is the fact that you can see the clear patches of dead, desertificated sections of the world. Possibly the most stark view of our planet yet."

One of the most awaited elements that have been teased in the previous trailers is the actual wormhole. How Christopher Nolan will portray the warp drive as the ship goes through the wormhole.

There is also a depiction of a giant wave on the target planet. The presence of water is encouraging, but can we stay there? We'll have to wait and see.
