LEGO Batman 3 Beyond Gotham Adds Comic Writer Kevin Smith And 'Arrow' Star Stephen Amell To The Game!

Developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros., LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is an upcoming 2014 Lego action-adventure video game which includes complicated characters like Krypto the Super Dog and Bat Cow. If you are a DC fan, this game is like a dream come true with new character announcements made left, right and center, many of these characters seem apt for the thrilling game.

Even today, LEGO Batman 3 added numerous new characters to its cast including film director and famous comic book writer Kevin Smith beside a repetition of Green Arrow (voiced by actor Stephen Amell). Amell portrays Oliver Queen / The Arrow in the CW series Arrow. Besides the addition of Smith and Amell, a version of Bruce Wayne (voiced by TroyBaker) alongside DC Comic's writer Geoff Johns was also confirmed by Warner Bros.

Apparently, many of these characters will be of the unlockable range and not part of the core LEGO Batman 3 story. In that story, Batman and Robin are requested to visit the Watchtower to inspect an occurring disturbance. The interstellar disturbance gives the feeling that it involves some of the Lantern planets like Odym and Oa. Super villain too seems to be involved but LEGO fans will have to wait till they find out how.

It apparently seems that LEGO Batman 3 packs a considerable trove of content in to its retail package as a result of which, Warner Bros. has decided to bring a Season Pass and DLC to the series for the first time. The DLC looks might be alluring in its own right specially the chance to play as Batman Beyond.

Other big-name characters include Gorilla Grodd, Black Manta, and even Batman '66 voiced by none other than Adam West. It's like a dream come true for a DC fan.

Moreover, the LEGO Batman 3 panel will feature appearances by Kevin Smith, Geoff Johns, Troy Baker and Stephen Amell at the New York Comic Con next week. It will take place on 11th October at 12pm for PC, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

Who else do you want to see join the fold? What do you think about the latest addition to the LEGO Batman 3 cast?
