Taylor Swift’s Charitable Heart Strikes Again; ‘Shake It Off’ Songstress Sings Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’ With Young Leukemia Patient

Taylor Swift's charity works do not always come in grand packages. Despite her packed schedule, the "Shake It Off" songstress finds time to make her fans feel cherished through simple things.

Last August, unknown to many, the blonde beauty went to Boston Children's Hospital and spent three hours interacting with the young ones. One of them is Ben who has been diagnosed with leukemia. As per E! News, Swift immediately noticed a keyboard in Ben's room.

She then asked him to play something. Ben immediately agreed and played Adele's "Someone Like You." The 24-year-old hit maker did not let Ben perform alone for she likewise began to sing.

Ben, who just underwent a bone marrow transplant, shared his encounter with the blonde beauty on YouTube. The caption of his video reads: "Taylor Swift stopped by the hospital for a surprise visit and dropped by my room to say hi! When she noticed the keyboard in my room, she asked me to play a song for her."

"I decided to play a song I had recently started working on which was 'Someone Like You,' by Adele. She said she would sing what she knew, and I said that I would play as much as I knew. This was the most amazing moment in my life being able to accompany Taylor Swift," he continued.

As per Ben, Swift was "super nice and cordial" and even hugged him off-camera. Apart from Ben, the "Red" singer also visited a 6-year-old named Jordan. The whole encounter was similarly captured on video.
