Install Android 4.4.4 KitKat update on Moto X T-Mobile variant now!

After the release of official Android 4.4.4 KitKat update on Verizon, AT&T and Sprint versions of Moto X, the T-Mobile's variant for the Motorola's 2013 flagship device is now receiving the firmware based on Google's latest mobile operating system.

According to Android Geeks, those who wish to install Android 4.4.4 KitKat update on Moto X T-Mobile can access the firmware via Over-The-Air process.

The firmware labeled as 213.44.1 could be more than 500MB heavy so make sure to have enough storage space on your smartphone.

There is no official changelog released yet for the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for T-Mobile Moto X but accordingly, the features should be quite similar to those seen from the Sprint, At&T and Verizon variants of the smartphone. The Android.gs post reads:

"Besides security improvements, it also brings a new color scheme and improved usability to phone dialer, better camera picture quality, and the ability to pause video recordings."

The Moto X T-Mobile should not be rooted and make sure to have stable Wi-fi connection to download the firmware smoothly and avoid data charges.

Make sure that before proceeding to install Android 4.4.4 KitKat update on Moto X T-Mobile, its battery level is at least 50 percent.

One the update notification arrives via OTA, just confirm the Download and Choose Install Now once the firmware file is successfully downloaded.

T-Mobile Moto X users can also check manually for the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update by going to Settings > About Phone > System Updates.
