Moto 360 Price More Expensive In Indian Market? Pricing Starts At Around $292

After the Apple Watch was announced, a lot of people considered the Motorola smartwatch to be the superior device in terms of design, functionality, and Moto 360 price.

That is why the manufacturer is already preparing to launch the wearable device in more markets, starting with India.

The Asian subcontinent may not be too interested in a wearable device that costs similar to a midranger Android smartphone, but the sleek design of the Moto 360 can certainly push a number of them to make a purchase. And with its second-highest population in the world, that 'small number' could mean hundreds of thousands or even millions.

According to the report by GSM Arena, the device has alread been priced in India at INR 17,999. Strangely enough, the conversion rates state it amounts to about $292, which means the Moto 360 will be more expensive in the Asian market compared to the US.

While no official shipping or release dates have been mentioned, the alleged pricing should pose a concern for Motorola, and even potential buyers of the device.

If the once Google-owned manufacturer wants to make an impact in the Asian market, they should keep prices lower. If it does not succeed in India, Motorola may not be able to get the necessary traction in other neighboring countries like China, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia.
