Miami Heat News: Dwyane Wade Still Friends With LeBron Even After Former Heat Superstar Broke The 'Big Three' In South Beach

If you are a Heat fan, then probably the worst news you heard this off-season is LeBron James' decision to move back to Cleveland and amass a great uprising that is set to change the landscape of NBA competition, especially in the East.

However, for former teammate Dwyane Wade, James' change of scenery wouldn't a bit change their relationship as friends.

According to a report by ESPN, Wade answered several questions from Bleacher Report and said how he and James were already close friends during the earlier part of their careers where they were the superstars of their respective teams.

"Me and LeBron, I'd go to Cleveland, we'd go to the movies. He'd come here, we'd hang out. And then we'd go on the court, and we'd compete. And then after the game, that's my boy", Wade said in the interview.

Even back then, they would compete with one another and find out who's better on the court. Wade recollected that when they teamed up in Miami for four years, they became even close.

Miami's Big Three accomplished the task at hand even for its first season together - reach the Finals, and though they failed to win it against the more experienced Dallas Mavericks, they did not stop until they got their (LeBron and Chris Bosh's) first NBA titles.

It was a successful run overall for the Miami Heat in those four years, however Wade said that last season was not as fun as everyone expected.

Aside from the fact that they did not win the NBA title, the 32-year-old guard said that there was specifically no stretch in that season which he can call 'fun'.

But right now, Wade says that the Heat have a new-found determination and eagerness in mind. From the players up to the coaches, everyone has a renewed focus and energy to do well reach the NBA playoffs once more.

As for Wade and LeBron's friendship, he makes it clear with a statement.

"Whether we are playing together or not, we're friends. Me and Chris [Bosh], we all have our certain friends, no matter what the game of basketball brings or doesn't bring."
