Nexus 6 Dimensions, Specs, Design Compared With Samsung Galaxy Note 3, LG G3, Galaxy S5, iPhone 6 And 6 Plus, Is Bigger Still Better These Days?

Whether you like it or not, the new Nexus 6 has dimensions, specs and a design that is unlike any other Nexus smartphone ever released in the market.

But is that a good thing or bad thing?

As far as design and dimensions are concerned, we pretty much already have a solid look at what the Nexus 6 or X looks like.

And so in a report by Phone Arena, 9to5Google has uploaded a video where it compared the a render of the unannounced Nexus 6 with other high-end smartphones in the market.

Some of the devices used for comparison include the Galaxy Note 3, LG G3, the Galaxy S5, the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the Blackberry Passport and last year's Nexus 5 from LG.

As we can expect, the Nexus 6, X or Shamu is massive compared to most of these devices. Thankfully, in spite the bigger screen, the new Motorola-made handset has thinner top and bottom bezels compared to the competition.

So does this mean that the smartphone is already better? Design alone does not produce top-notch smartphones, specs do. And with the Nexus 6, it will definitely be an Android fanatic's dream smartphone.

The Nexus 6 is tipped to run on the latest Android L version, which should be announced at the same event in October. It also packs a Snapdragon 805, 3GB of RAM, a QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, and a 13MP OIS-powered smartphone.

The soon to be announced smartphone is powered by a whopping 3,200mAh battery which should be enough throughout the day.

Aside from the Nexus 6, another handset that is bound to upgrade the Nexus lineup is the Nexus 8 or 9 (it allegedly has an 8.9 screen) by HTC. The device runs on the lates NVIDIA Tegra K1 chipset which should make it one of the most game friendly slates in the market.

By the way, here's the video comparison of the Nexus 6 render:
