Chicago Bulls Roster Holds A Lot Of Promise This Coming 2014-15 Season, But Loses By 4 Against Wizards In Pre-Season Debut

The Chicago Bulls roster this year is one of the favorites to make it to the Eastern Conference Finals, and even step back to the NBA Finals since the Michael Jordan era.

And in their first pre-season game, Chicago showed just that with a balanced attack from both in and out.

However, the Wizards was the better team tonight as they pulled off an 85-81 victory.

Just like any team that just gone through rebulding this off-season, the Bulls need to adjust to the new schemes that will be implemented by coach Thibodeau.

Unlike other seasons where they also played with star point guard Derrick Rose, this team now has a number of decent options on the offensive end, headlined by Pau Gasol, who signed for the Bulls after walking out of Los Angeles.

The Spaniard finished with with 8 points, 8 boards, 3 blocks and 2 steals, giving the Bulls an all out effort on both ends on the floor, in spite playing just his first game as a Bull.

Meanwhile, it was Nikola Mirotic, the profilic shooter from Europe, who led the way for Chicago with 17 markers, 5 rebounds and 2 steals.

Doug McDermott, Mike Dunleavy, Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler also contributed for the Bulls in a losing effort. Strangely, Joakim Noah was not a factor in tonight's game, though he may still be taking care of his recent injury.
