LG G Watch R With Round Display Will Be Most Expensive Wearable Device, Price Tipped At $300, Availability Begins On October 14

If you are a fan of the smartwatch niche, then you are probably praying to the tech gods that more circular smartwatch devices follow the lead of the Moto 360. Thankfully, the LG G Watch R does just that.

During the press event of LG during the IFA showcase in Berlin, the Korean manufacturer presented the G Watch R, which could mean 'Round'.

In reports by tech websites, other than the circular design, there seems to be no differences between the G Watch R and the original G Watch, which was the company's first wearable device and launched in June.

Those specs include a 1.3-inch P-OLED display with 320 x 320 display, 512MB of RAM, a Snapdragon 400 chipset, 4GB of built-in memory, and a 410mAh battery.

The stainless steel back frame also helps the device to be water resistant, which is one of the most sought after features in a wearable device.

Unfortunately, the G Watch R could be the most expensive smartwatch today as reports claim that it will be priced at around $330 in South Korea where it will first be made available.

Thankfully, the device should be priced around $220 in the US market.
