‘Fate/Stay Night’ Remake Release Date Set For October, Type-Moon Releases Special Illustrated Countdown [PHOTOS]

After a successful premiere across multiple countries, Type-Moon's "Fate/stay night" remake, the Unlimited Blade Works edition, is set to air Episode 1 on television (with a simulcast from Crunchyroll and Hulu) on October 11th. Ufotable and Type-Moon have released some special illustrations to help fans countdown until the premiere episode and increase excitement for the series.

"For any creator, their own work is almost like their own kids. You'd want them to grow as healthy as possible, and that's how we raised Fate. As time went by, so did its childhood days, and we'll most likely be seeing a different side [of Fate/Stay Night]," said series creator Kinoko Nasu on his personal blog celebrating the anniversary of "Fate/stay night." Hopefully after the successful multi-country premiere of Episode 0 - The Prologue to the new Unlimited Blade Works edition of "Fate/stay night", Kinoko Nasu can feel happy about the different side he attempted to bring out.

Sadly, there's still a few days left before the premiere of Episode 1, which is entitled, "Fuyu no Hi, Unmei no Yoru," (A Winter Day, A Fateful Night). The episode (which some fans got to see at the theatrical premieres) won't air until October 11th, but Type-Moon and Ufotable have released their own special countdown artwork to help fans cope with the wait.

According to Anime News Network, "Visitors to the official Japanese or Fate/stay night and Type-moon websites are being greeted by the [Fate/stay night COUNTDOWN Project], which features artwork and messages from the production staff of both ufotable and Type-Moon."

So far there have been images in color, black and white, sketches, and even messages. Here are the latest countdown photos. The Unlimited Blade Works "Fate/stay night" looks to be something that even the staff themselves are excited about.
