Jeremy Lin News: 'Linsanity' Coming To LA? Not Quite Yet As Floor General Dishes 10 Dimes, But Gets Just 1 Point In Pre-Season Match

For fans of the Linsanity craze a couple of years ago, the latest Jeremy Lin news will provide promise to his upcoming stint with the Los Angeles Lakers this coming 2014-15 season.

During the team's first ever pre-season game last night against the Denver Nuggets, Lin played a back up role to primary floor general Steve Nash, who played well in limited game time.

Playing his first game wearing purple and gold, Lin posted a game high 10 assists, which is pretty impressive considering that he did not start the game, and played more than 20 minutes.

With such an impressive passing performance, it is also worth-noting that the product from Harvard only had 3 turnovers. During his stint with the New York Knicks and his first year with the Houston Rockets, Lin has averaged more than 4 turnovers per game and that's because he just love to pass to his teammates whenever they are open.

In last night's game, Lin found the right gear to involve his team mates in the game, and as a result a number of Lakers players were in double figures by the game ended.

Unfortunately, in spite all the praises Lin has been getting all throughout the game, he shot a very pityful zero percent from the field (0 out of 6). Lin only had a point in a split on the free throw line in the latter part of the game.

Fortunately for LA, they won the game after an end-game collapse by Denver, in which they failed to foul right away after coming to within 2 with only a few seconds remaining.

It was a great showing overall for the Lakers, especially its veterans Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash, but if they want to get a shot at the playoffs picture, the second unit should be able to play together seamlessly.
