San Antonio Spurs Roster: Is Spurs' All Flowing Offense Still Capable Of Breaking Down Defenses Next Season?

For many years, the San Antonio Spurs roster has been one of the deepest teams in the NBA. And that only means almost every player is capable of delivering the right game for coach Gregg Popovich.

However, if we look at the team closely, none of the Spurs' players can be labeled a superstar right now. Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker may be considered the best NBA trio in basketball in recent memory, but as they approach the twilight of their respective careers, their intelligent play may not be enough to hold up for the next couple of seasons.

During the 2014 NBA Finals where San Antonio demolished the Miami Heat in the last four games, it was the team's flowing offense that made the difference. In an offensive setup, almost all the players touch the ball before anyone gets to shoot, and by the time that someone has the ball, he is already wide open to take the shot.

The question now is whether that same strategy would work for the Spurs in order to make a repeat performance this coming season.

During the off-season, team have begun rebuilding, and not with their primary star players, but their respective teams' supporting cast.

In a gruelling 82-game season, you can't expect your stars to play their best game every night, and so the reserves should do their part to ease the burden.

San Antonio has been doing that almost flawlessly for the past couple of seasons, which allow them to be at the top of the Western Conference after the season. But now, some teams may be able to do the same feat as well.

The Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers are coming off the best off-season acquisitions they had in years, and the two East teams can pose a threat to the Spurs.
