Robert Pattinson's Sister Lizzy Gets Eliminated From The X-Factor UK; Judge Simon Cowell Says 'She Doesn't Quite Make That Impact'

After what appeared to be a smooth sailing journey to the live shows of the "X-Factor UK," Robert Pattinson's sister Lizzy was sent home when judge Simon Cowell decided that "she doesn't quite make that impact."

Robert Pattinson's sister Lizzy got through the first rounds of elimination for the UK edition of the singing contest but failed to impress Cowell during the house visit round. The 31-year-old singer, who works as a personal assistant, failed to elicit a nod from Cowell when she sang Blake Shelton's "Dont Make Me."

"Lizzy, I think so far, you've done good," said Cowell before the performance. "Not great. We've seen about 70% of you. You've kind of got to have a moment now."

After the performance, Cowell remarked "She doesn't quite make that impact. Would she get swallowed up on that live stage? But she's got real star quality. I really like her." Ultimately, the contest creator decided not to let the older Pattinson through to the live shows and went with Fleur East.

Meanwhile, Lizzy admitted that she wasn't on top of her game during the performance, saying "I started feeling ill the day before I left for Judges' Houses, maybe subconsciously I was a bit nervous about everything. While I performed the higher range, I didn't feel like I had any control. I didn't know what note was going to come out."

She took to Twitter to send a message to fans who felt showed support upon hearing the news that she got eliminated. "Thank you for your lovely messages," the tweet read."I had laringytus at judges' houses, but did the best I could...the show must go on! Best time ever."

When asked for a comment about his sister's decision to get into the "X Factor," the "Twilight" star said "I would never have the balls to do that, ever, in a million years. I can't believe she's done it. So, it's amazing."

According to a report from the Mirror, a source claimed Robert Pattinson's sister Lizzy did not mention her connection with the Hollywood actor when she auditioned for the show and that "It's important to her she does not fall into the trap of just becoming 'Rob's sister.'"
