Sinead O'Connor Memoir To Reveal 'Sexual Dirt'; Nothing Compares 2 U Singer's Tell-All Out In 2016

Sinead O'Connor's memoir has been slated for publishing and the "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer promises it will tell the story of her entire life, including "the sexual dirt on everyone" she has ever slept with.

The content of Sinead O'Connor's memoir, which was given a March 2016 release date, will reportedly also tackle recent parts of her life including her latest album "I'm Not Bossy, I'm the Boss."

"I've never stopped expressing myself in music, and now, with a book," said the 47-year-old Irish singer in a statement.

The yet-to-be-named book was picked up by Penguin Group's Blue Rider Press, which is also responsible for Neil Young's books.

According to a press release issued by Blue Rider, O'Connor's will tell the story of the singer's "turbulent upbringing in Ireland; her breakout as an artist with the 1987's The Lion and the Cobra and her nine subsequent albums; her controversial opinions and actions, as well as her personal and musical struggles and triumphs, through the present day."

O'Connor has been known to have stern convictions and no filter when she voices out her opinions. In a recent interview with Sky News, the singer spoke about metal illness.

"Coverage of well-known females who have mental illness or suffer from depression is notoriously abusive... Female celebrities get lynched in the street, they get mocked and buffooned," said O'Connor about the media's treatment of women celebrities who suffer from mental health issues.

The singer added, "Stigma is the most enormous reason why people go that far. When you admit that you are anything that may mistakenly or otherwise perceived as mentally ill, you know you'll get treated like dirt so you don't tell anybody and that's why people die."

Sinead O'Connor's memoir promises to have no trace whatsoever of a ghost writer as the singer herself will pen the entire book.
