INFINITE's Woohyun Discusses His First Acting Role For 'The Thousandth Man'

INFINITE's Woohyun will be trying out acting for the first time for the drama "The Thousandth Man."

Woohyun's character also called Woohyun in the drama "The Thousandth Man" set to air its first episode on August 17 is said to seem cool on the outside but is actually warmhearted and charming.. With his handsome looks and direct attitude, he plans to capture female viewers' hearts as the 'nation's sweet guy.'

The drama will be Woohyun's first acting debut in a drama, as the idol already has given a try at acting with the musical "Gwanghamun Sonata" last year.

When Woohyun was asked how he felt about his first day of filming, he stated "It feels like I was eight years old, going to the first day of school. That excitement only lasted for that first filming. For the second filming day, it felt like going back to school. Every time I go back, it feels new. I want to be able to give an honest and true acting so much that it won't seem as 'acting.'"

He continued, "The member that gave me the most support was Sunggyu. Not only him, but the other members also gave me support by saying things like, "You're the atmosphere maker of the group so you're perfect for a sitcom," and "Have fun at it so the viewers will also have fun and do well."

MBC's fantasy sitcom drama "The Thousandth Man" follows the story of a gumiho (nine tailed fox) who needs to eat the liver of her lover to become human and will begin airing on August 17 at 9:55 PM KST.
