Month of Abundance for K-Pop: Son Dam Bi, Jewelry and Gain October Comeback Dates

The month of October should be considered as the month of abundance for K-Pop, looking at the top stars who are scheduled to comeback.

October is being referred to as a month of abundance for K-Pop since numerous female singers and idol groups have scheduled their comebacks. The atmosphere is already tense after sensing the nearing comeback of these impressive and competitive top stars.

First, Brown Eyed Girls member Gain will begin her promotional activities as a solo artist after the release of her album Talk about S, which is scheduled for release on October 5. Gain has been drawing a significant amount of attention for releasing teaser videos of songs like "Gaze", "Meet Her", "Catch Me If You Can" and "Tinkerbelle." Currently, the video of Gain's title song "Bloom" is the only one that is waiting to be unveiled.

Gain released her first solo album back in 2010 with Step 2/4 and stole the hearts of countless fans with her unique barefoot performances. Gain's possibility of success was made apparent when she revealed a new side of herself as a solo artist.

Gain's biggest competition is expected to be singer Son Dam Bi, who is coming back after a 2-year hiatus from the music scene. Son Dam Bi is in the midst of wrapping up her preparation as she aims for October 8 as her comeback date.

After appearing in the popular MBC drama "Light and Shadow", Son Dam Bi began to prepare for her comeback album. There have been rumors about her comeback date since August but the official date has now been reported to have been pushed in order to provide her fans with an album that is the closest to perfection.

Son Dam Bi's new mini-album will contain a total of 5 songs with a title song written and produced by Brave Brothers, who also created her other hit songs like "Crazy" and "Saturday Night."

Jewelry (Ha Jooyeon, Kim Eunjung, Park Saemi, Kim Yewon) are also scheduled to comeback this month. It is Jewelry's first time releasing an album after almost a year and a half. Their last album called Pass was released in 2011. Jewelry's new mini-album Look at Me will be released on the 11th of this month.

Jewelry's entertainment agency has not yet revealed their new concept or anything related to that matter. All that has been announced is that they have thrown out the innocent image to create a lovely lady concept that will feature sexiness and cuteness at the same time.

Although other artists like Girls' Generation (SNSD), 2NE1 and miss A are also expected to comeback this month, the exact dates have not yet been confirmed. K-Pop is expected to be more than a handful this Fall with impressive female artists coming our way.
