'I Miss You' Deals with Provocative Issues

The actors of "I Miss You" are stealing the spotlight.

The two main characters were kidnapped on the Wednesday episode of MBC's "I Miss You" by a mysterious man and faced difficulties.

Han Jung Woo (Yeo Jin Goo) was kidnapped and Lee Soo Yeon (Kim So Hyun) who was coming to meet him spotted him and chased after him. She happened to see his face and she was taken as well.

Lee Soo Yeon was sexually abused and hit and Han Jung Woo had to escape. When he got home, he was riddled with guilt and he tries to convince his father to go back and find Lee Soo Yeon but his father didn't want to get involved with the police.

Jung Woo blamed himself for being useless and became furious with his father. Jung Woo's despair was depicted very well and the viewer's definitely sympathized with him and the difficult life of Soo Yeon, who was not only labeled as a murderer's daughter but also kidnapped.

Thanks to the amazing acting from the child actors, the viewer's love the drama. The child actors have increased expectations for the adult actors to come and the audience is desperately waiting for JYJ's Park Yoochun, Yoon Eun Hye and Yoo Seung Ho. Though the sexual abuse of a minor is a very sensitive and provocative issue to deal with in dramas, the production explained that it had to be there in order for them to continue delivering a message about society.

The drama airs every Wednesday and Thursday.
