Park Bo Young Cried During Her Volunteer Work

Park Bo Young is usually known as a bubbly individual with a bouncy personality, even as an actress. But she gave off a new side of herself during her volunteer work.

She participated in MBC's 2012 KOICA Dream - the same program that Narsha of Brown Eyed Girls had done. However, she joined the group late due to her appreance at the Toronto International Film Festival. Her first job was to venture into the woods to collect clams for the children in the town. Although she was pricked with clam shells and bitten by crabs, she continued to smile and collect what she needed to for the village.

Once she returned and gave everything that she had gathered, it only amounted to one dollar and 25 cents. Shocked at how low the earnings were, she broke down and began to cry, which shocked a few people. Her reason for crying was because she realized how difficult it was for the families to make ends meet.

The actress commented, "The best we can do is to finish work on the orphanage and build the ships the people here need."
