Pre-Sales Begin For VIXX Special Single Album ‘Boys’ Record’

The pre-sales event will ramp up to the VIXX album release to be held six days from now.

The six-man idol group announced on their Facebook page that pre-sales has begun for their special single album Boys' Record which is scheduled to release on February 24. A music video will also be released on the same day.

Fans looking to grab a copy -- whether through the pre-sales event or during official release day - will receive the full album plus a gathering of visual goodies like a 68-page booklet, a random photocard presumably a close-up of one of the boys and a limited poster to hang on the wall.

But the most excitement has surrounded the three tracks in the album, two of which had been written by members of the group!

Track 1 is "Love Equation" which is a remake of the same-named song by Re.f first released back in the 1990's. A video pre-teaser has been put out for the track which showed the boys in an old school dance studio with the boys lined up in two rows and facing the mirror as if they were about to practice their moves.

Track 2 is a song written and composed by member Leo with raps from another member Ravi.

Track 3 is titled "Memory" written and composed by Ravi, and has been quite the anticipated studio version release by veteran fans.

The special single album also sets itself apart from recent VIXX comebacks for its youthful and fun feel based on the visual teasers that have already been put out. In the cover photo for the album, for example, the boys can be seen sporting cozy sweaters, caps and colorful sneakers.

After the album release and round of TV and radio promotions in late February through to early March, the boys will then prepare for their "Utopia" concert in Seoul scheduled on March 28 to 29.
