Blake Lively news reported that the "Age of Adeline" star is happier with domesticated bliss. According to a report from Huffington Post, the new mom opened up to Allure magazine about life after her hit teen series, "Gossip Girl."

"Most of the things I do are all-consuming, but somehow I find a way to do it all," the 27-year-old said about being a first-time mom and balancing her career.

"It's not having it all; it's about doing it all. But it's dangerous to dilute that to a catchphrase."

"Having it all could be having a happy, healthy family, and you could be a mom who stays at home, and that is the most admirable thing you could do. Or it could be having a profession that you really believe in, and not having a family, and doing what fulfills you," she added.

Blake Lively made news last year when she announced that she and "Green Lantern" actor Ryan Gosselin were having a baby.

The blond stunner explained why she chose to make the announcement via her lifestyle website, "Preserve," where she posted an elegant baby bump photo to reveal her pregnancy.

"That was my way of owning that moment. It was important for us," she said.

"It was a struggle, because we want to keep our privacy, but we also don't want our lives to be exploited by other people."

"So we did it simply; it was a quiet way, an elegant way," said Blake Lively.

The former It Girl also opened up about CW's hit teen series, "Gossip Girl." Blake Lively regularly made news throughout the duration of the popular show, which undeniably catapulted her into stardom.

However, the statuesque actress admitted she had mixed emotions about her character - a controversial socialite named Serena Van Der Woodsen.

"People loved it, but it always felt a little personally compromising - you want to be putting a better message out there," Blake Lively said about "Gossip Girl."

"I would not be proud to be the person who gave someone the cocaine that made them overdose and then shot someone and slept with someone else's boyfriend," she pointed out.
