Lindsay Lohan News: 'Mean Girls' Star's Stepmother Kate Major Arrested For Assault; Michael Lohan Blames Ex-Wife Dina Lohan

Lindsay Lohan news reported that the "Mean Girls" star's stepmother, Kate Major, was arrested for assault. According to a report from TMZ, Michael Lohan also blames his ex-wife, Dina Lohan, for his current marital woes.

Lindsay Lohan's controversial 54-year-old father reportedly contacted Boca Raton police officials last Apr. 21. Michael Lohan then accused his 32-year-old second wife of attacking him when he arrived home with dinner and noticed she was visibly intoxicated.

The couple then started to argue, and the confrontation became physical when Kate Major allegedly began to scratch Michael Lohan violently.

However, Kate Major explained that Michael Lohan provoked the fight by accusing her of cheating. The blond journalist also accused Lindsay Lohan's father of grabbing her by the throat.

TMZ detailed that since there were no visible marks to prove Michael Lohan's attack, Kate Major allegedly scratched her own throat area to create red marks to accuse her husband of domestic abuse.

Police then bought Kate Major to the Palm Beach County Jail, where she was charged for battery.

In an odd plot twist, Michael Lohan dragged into the issue his first wife,  Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina Lohan. He and his 52-year-old ex-wife have been involved in several legal and custody cases following their divorce years ago.

"At the end of the day, this is all because of what Dina is doing in court," Michael Lohan said.

"It affects Kate too, and like anyone with a drug or alcohol problem, when they can't handle the stress, they resort to drinking."

Aside from the domestic issues between Michael Lohan and his second wife, recent Lindsay Lohan news reported that the former Disney star is allegedly feuding with her mother.

According to a related report from TMZ, Lindsay Lohan made news once again after she called the cops on Dina Lohan, who allegedly has been selling her prized personal belongings without her consent.

Some of the items allegedly being sold in an online flea market included the movie star's clothing, furniture, artwork and other personal belongings.
