A Spice Girls reunion just happened at David Beckham's birthday celebration. The soccer star's wife, Victoria Beckham, was able to bring the Spice Girls together for a special dinner she hosted for her husband.
Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), all showed up for the birthday bash of Beckham, which was held in Marrakesha, Morocco.
The group even posed for a photo, with actress Eva Longorio joining them. Later on, the "Desperate Housewives" actress wrote on WhoSay that she was the latest addition to the girl group. "I'm the new Spice Girl! @victoriabeckham @emmabunton @MelanieCmusic @gerihalliwell," Longoria's caption read.
Longoria also posted another photo of an entertainer balancing a plate of fire on her head, with the caption "Too much fun with Emma and Mel! #DB40."
Victoria Beckham, who planned the event, also shared with fans a photo of the event. She posted a photo on her Instagram account, featuring her and her husband with a backdrop of a pool of water surrounded by lamps."Special evening with family and friends," Victoria captioned the photo. In reply, David posted a selfie with his wife. "Thanks to my beautiful wife for such an amazing day x," he said.
However, one member of the British girl group was not able to attend the festivities. Melanie Brown, or Scary Spice was not able to make it to the soccer star's dinner. But this did not mean that Mel B. was not in good terms with the other Spice Girls.
Apparently, she was busy preparing for the brand new season of "America's Got Talent," which is set to air this month. According to E! News, the singer remains close to her former girl group mates.
"We talk a lot and we text and we Facetime," she shared. "I was just Facetiming Geri the other day, she's about to get married so we're going to go over to England for her wedding."
