Star Wars 7 News: Adam Driver Revealed As Villain Kylo Ren, Insider Details Here!

Two new characters have been revealed in the upcoming "Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens" movie. In the most recent issue of "Vanity Fair" magazine, the stars of the upcoming installment in the "Star Wars" are featured and the characters played by Adam Driver and Lupita Nyong'o are revealed.

"Girls" actor Adam Driver is confirmed to play the hooded villain Kylo Ren. He is the one wielding the three-pronged lightsaber in the "StarWars: The Force Awakens" teaser trailer, which had the social media world abuzz. In the photo spread shot by photographer Annie Leibovitz, Driver is shown wearing an all-black outfit and flanked by two snowtroopers.

Adam Driver taking on the villain role in "Star Wars 7" was rumored as early as last year. There have been no official details or confirmation about it, which only fueled plenty of discussion and speculation about who his character will be.

On the other hand, Lupita Nyong'o has been revealed to be playing a C.G.I character named Maz Kanata, who is a pirate. Unlike Adam Driver's Kylo Ren, it has not yet been confirmed which side of the Rebel Alliance (or Resistance, as the new "Star Wars" movie calls them), Maz Kanata is on.

Director J.J. Abrams is also interviewed in the magazine, and he revealed what happened to the divisive character, Jar Jar Binks. "I have a thought about putting Jar Jar Binks' bones in the desert there," Abrams shared. "I'm serious! Only three people will notice, but they'll love it"

He also talked about the direction he gave to Harrison Ford about how he wanted the actor to play his character Han Solo in "Star Wars 7.""I knew that he had done in some movies a kind of more growly thing, and I didn't want Han to be growly," the director shared. "There was a fire in his eyes that you see in the movie."

Annie Leibovitz went to London  to shoot these actors in the iconic Pinewood Studios to photograph the actors of the new "Star Wars" movie. The photo spread is part of the magazine's June issue, and the magazine promised one more big character revelation in the magazine.
