Oscar Pistorius Plans Private Memorial Service For Girlfriend He Shot And Killed

Madness continues once more as Oscar Pistorius is plans a private memorial service to honor his girlfriend, whom he shot and killed on Valentine's Day.

TMZ reports that the memorial for Reeva Steenkamp is set to take place tonight at the home of Pistorius uncle. This is the home that Pistorius has been staying at since banned from his home by the judge.

Oscar's rep released a statement, saying, "Oscar specifically requested the memorial service as he continues to grieve and remains in deep mourning for the loss of his partner Reeva."

The rep for Pistorius adds, "Since it is such a sensitive issue, Oscar has asked for a private service with people who share his loss, including his family members who knew and loved Reeva as one of their own."

No telling who will actually appear at this memorial service while a trial is going on for the man hosting it.

Pistorius is on trial for the murder of his then girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. He says he was in the bathroom when he shot through the door, killing Steenkamp. In his mind, he said he believed it was an intruder.

This news of the memorial service is coming shortly after the judge who has allowed Pistorius to be bailed found out his cousin had killed her two sons and herself.

The judged noted that the prosecutors didn't convince him that Pistorius was an endangerment and decided to let him be posted on bail.

Since he has been bailed, he will host a private memorial service for the woman he may have killed.

Olympian, Paralympic gold medalist and double-legged amputee star is facing a possible huge fall.

Multiple endorsements came Pistorius way over the last handful of years, including Nike. There's no telling where that money or the life of a once South African hero goes.
