Tineesha Lashun Howard Wanted For Questioning In Las Vegas Strip Shooting, Considered ‘Person Of Interest’

Tineesha Lashun Howard is wanted for questioning by police and considered a 'Person of Interest' in the Las Vegas Strip shooting and crash that occurred last week.

Police released statement Tuesday Feb. 26 that they are looking for the 22-year old Tineesha Lashun Howard in connection to the fatal shooting, CNN reported.

Tineesha Lashun Howard is registered as a missing and possibly endangered person from the Miami area.

Police are calling Tineesha Lashun Howard, aka Yenesis Alfonso, a 'person of interest', and not yet a suspect.

Spokeswoman with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Laura Meltzer said, "She's not considered a suspect. She's somebody detectives would like to speak to in connections with this event."

Howard has been identified as being inside a black Range Rover at the time shots were fired from the vehicle. Police described her as 5 feet 8 inches tall at 120 pounds, and having green eyes and dark hair.

Meltzer said, "This case needs to be solved," and urged Howard to come forward.

Police previously identified Ammar Asim Furuq Harris, 26, as a suspect in the shooting.

He is still considered 'at large' but his black Range Rover has been impounded, police say.

Police consider Harris armed and dangerous. KLPS reported that he has an extensive criminal history.

Harris has several tattoos, including a small heart-shaped one below his right eye and a large one of an owl that covers his neck and chest.

A woman who claims to be Howard's mother told CNN that her daughter and Harris have been seeing each other for about a year.

Howard's alleged mother, Miladys Garcia, said she recognized Harris from an image that the police issued, but that she knew him by a different name. Garcia hasn't been in touch with her daughter since the shooting.

Police have released photographs of Howard and Harris. One is identical to a Facebook profile picture identified as 'Yeni Alfonso'.

That page says that Howard/Alfonso is from Naranja, Florida, and attended Homestead High School. Reportedly, she works as an entertainer at Playmates Cabaret and lives in Las Vegas.

A man named Emilio Alfonso posted two messages on her Facebook page since Sunday. The messages said, "Yeny, call me now," and "You've got me worried. Call me. You are very important. Everything has a solution," both in Spanish.

In the shooting and crash last Thursday, Kenneth Cherry, and aspiring rapper known as Kenny Clutch, was driving his Maserati at 4:20 am when someone in a Range Rover shot at his car as it drove north on Las Vegas Blvd.

Cherry was shot in the chest and arm, and later died at the hospital from his injuries.

The Maserati continued into the intersection of Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard and crashed into a taxi.

The taxi caught fire, killing driver Michael Boldon, according to KVVU. The passenger in the taxi, Sandra Sutton-Wasmund, also died.

The deaths of Boldon and Wasmund have been ruled homicides, according to the coroner's office.
