Perez Hilton Becomes A Dad: Celebrity Blogger Is Now A Father 'I Am So Humbled To Welcome This Little Man' He Writes [PHOTO]

Perez Hilton has become a dad.

The celebrity blogger and actor posted a letter to fans on Wednesday explaining the new development.

"Dear Friends, I want you to hear this directly from me, right here," Hilton wrote on perezhilton.com. "I am ready to announce that earlier this month I was blessed with the birth of my first child, a beautiful and healthy baby boy---with lots of hair on his tiny head! My family is overjoyed at this newest and most cherished addition."

Hilton thanked the millions of readers who helped make him a household name.

"Thank YOU for welcoming PerezHilton.com into your homes, offices, classrooms, cell phones and wherever else you may read my five websites. And thank you for welcoming ME into your lives! I am so humbled to welcome this little man into my life. And I am honored and ready for the challenge of guiding him through his."

Hilton posted a photo of himself holding his new son next to his open letter to fans.

Perez made his off-Broadway debut in "NEWSical" in the fall.

"I'm feeling excited," Perez told Huff Post Gay Voices shortly before the show's September premiere. "I have a lot to prove. I want to build awareness of myself in the theatergoing community. I'm almost back where I began...I went to NYU and I studied acting, so it's almost like I've come full circle."

As always Hilton, who has also appeared on television shows "The Sopranos" and "Glee," pulled no punches in talking about his career.

"I'm here to prove to people that I don't suck, that I am easy to work with, drama-free, professional and I'm not a diva," the new father said. "I definitely would love to do more onstage in New York; of course it would definitely be a dream to be on Broadway. But even if that doesn't happen, I'm really thrilled just to have this experience."
