Chris Rock And Dave Chappelle Together On Tour? The Two Legendary Comedians Talked About The Possibility Last Night At An Unannounced Comedy Club Date

Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle may possibly join forces on a comedy tour.

The duo gave a surprise 45 minute-long statndup set to those in attendance last night at The Comedy Cellar in New York City.

"This could be the show," said Chappelle.

"I'm in," responded Rock.

Chappelle continued promoting the possibility of this tour when Rock mentioned how he was going to be working on a new film. He said he could squeeze in a Rock-Chappelle super-show.

 "After next Tuesday, I'm free for like eleven years," Chappelle replied.

"I've got time between now and the movie," Rock told Chappelle. "By Halloween, I could do dates."

This has the internet buzzing for the tour thatfans have clamored for for years.

Beginning in 2011, word spread of the possible tour, but it never happened. Last year, Rock told New York Magazine, "I've been talking to Chappelle a lot. Been trying to get Chappelle to go on tour."

This could lead to a duo tour or perhaps a one-night extravaganza.

Chris Rock rose to fame as a cast member of Saturday Night Live in the 1990s. He's starred in movies such as "The Longest Yard" and "Death at a Funeral."

Rock also dubbed the voices of animated characters in the films Shrek, Madagascar and Osmosis Jones. He's filmed music videos and even a feature on an album by Kanye West.

Dave Chappelle had his first movie role in the acclaimed film, "Robin Hood: Men In Tights." He went on to star in the movie "Half Baked."

He created and starred in "Chappelle's Show," considered by many to be one of the greatest sketch comedy shows in history, before walking away from a $50 million deal and famously traveling to Africa.

Last night's comedy set was thrilled at Chapelle's unanounced visit, but Rock really added to the fun.

They poked fun at Kevin Hart, Prince and President Obama. The pair even tried to text Jay-Z about meeting later for a spaghetti dinner.

Hova never responded.

But, the show went on and that's when they started to converse about joining forces.

Maybe an announcement will come out soon to make it official. Until then, their fans will have to wait and hope it comes true.
