Second Sinkhole Appears in Tampa Two Miles Away From First, 'Hardly a Place in Florida, Immune to Sinkholes' [VIDEO]

A second sinkhole appeared in Tampa area on Monday, less than two miles away from the one that swallowed and presumably killed Jeff Bush last week.

The latest sinkhole located behind a home is about 12 feet round, 3 feet deep around the endge and about 5 feet deep in the center according to Hillsborough County spokesman Willie Puz.

The authorities say the second sinkhole is not related to the one in Seffner.

"It is not geologically connected," Puz said.

Nearby two houses have been evacuated as sinkhole causes to weaken the ground underneath them and their residents will never be allowed inside again, said Jessica Damico of Hillsborough County Fire Rescue.

Bush's home made headlines Friday morning after Bush disappeared into the sinkhole that opened up under his bedroom Thursday night.

Rescue works tried to rescue Bush from the sinkhole however as the sinkhole expanded and hope waned efforts to find him was called off for safety reasons. Officials said it is unlikely his body will ever be retrieved.

Demolition crews returned to Bush's home Monday to demolish the remainder of the house before they can begin efforts to stabilize the sinkhole.

"There's hardly a place in Florida that's immune to sinkholes," Sandy Nettles, who owns a geology consulting company in the Tampa area, told the Associated Press. "There's no way of ever predicting where a sinkhole is going to occur."
