Bret Michaels Meltdown: Rocker Becomes First Contestant Fired By Trump On ‘All-Stars Celebrity Apprentice’ Premier, “Totally Distraught ”

Bret Michaels had a public meltdown after getting fired by Donald Trump on The Celebrity Apprentice season premier on the night of Sunday, March 3.

Donald Trump made the shocking elimination from the All-Stars Celebrity Apprentice shot in New York, provoking Bret Michaels' meltdown.

Michaels' elimination and meltdown shocked audiences and Bret Michaels himself, according to RadarOnline.com.

A show insider claimed, "Bret was crying and totally distraught after he was fired."

The 80's rock singer of 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn' was a returning member of the All-Stars cast after his win in the Celebrity Apprentice's last season. His previous win makes it extremely shocking that he was the first member of the entire cast to be fired.

"Bret totally went into the show believing he was going to win again. He couldn't believe it that he was let go so quickly. It was brutal to watch him freaking out the way he did," the source told RadarOnline.

Donald Trump, the host, judge, and executive producer of the show, had to decide whether to fire Bret Michaels or LaToya Jackson of Jackson family fame, and he chose to let the rock star go.

La Toya Jackson, Omarosa Manigault, Gary Busey, Lil' Jon, Lisa Rinna, Dennis Rodman, Claudia Jordan, Trace Adkins, Brande Roderick, Penn Jillette, Dee Snider, Marilu Henner, and Stephen Baldwin remain in the competition.

"It was a mess when Bret was told the news and filming was done," the source explained.

"He couldn't stop crying and even the producers were trying to comfort him. No one expected him to have a meltdown like that."

All-Stars Celebrity Apprentice airs on Sundays on NBC at 9/8c.
