Cop Punches Woman In Shocking YouTube Video: See The Viral Clip Of The New Jersey Police Officer With Fists Of Fury [VIDEO]

A 20-second YouTube video that appears to feature a New Jersey cop that punches a woman in the face, surfaced this week.

Elizabeth, N.J. police are launching a full investigation to see if one of the department's cops did in fact punch the woman in the video clip.

The Star Ledger reports the video has already received 10,000 views on YouTube.

According to the paper, the owner of Elizabeth, N.J. nightspot Club Envy confirmed the incident happened in the alley across the street from his house.

According to the club owner, who asked not to be identified, he did not recognize the woman or the officer.

The woman who the cop punches in the face appears to be coming from a nightclub, but he points out there is another club down the street.

The response on Twitter to the video where the New Jersey cop allegedly punches a woman, was not one of sympathy.

"OMG HAHAHA" tweeted Amy.

Twitter user Frank Junior used the opportunity to vent some "Jersey Shore"-related rage.

"Please tell me it was snooki or jwwow," he tweeted Wednesday.
