Hillary Scott Expecting a Baby Girl With Fellow Lady Antebellum Bandmate, 'We Feel So Blessed!'

Hillary Scott is pregnant with a baby girl according to her publicist that told Us Weekly.

Lady Antebellum's lead singer announced last December that she and husband Christ Tyrrell are expecting their first child together later this year.

"Chris and I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a baby!" she tweeted at the time. "We feel so blessed!!!"

Scott and Tyrrell, drummer of Lady Antebellum didn't go far, however their relationship pre-dates the band. As they met while in college then lost touch. They reconnected during Tim McGraw's Southern Voice tour in 20101 and start dating later that year.

The couple married in January 2012 after their engagement in July 2011. Since the pregnancy announcement, the "Downtown" singer shared updates with her fans through Twitter.

"Who has two thumbs and just asked her husband, and very nicely I might add, to run into the grocery store for pop tarts? ME! Pregnancy," she wrote Jan. 15.

One month later she shared, "I've never dreamed weirder dreams than I have pregnant . . . if I could only recall all the details. It would make a killer movie!"

Scott shared that she found her soulmate after marriage, "Everything is brighter. Everything has a deeper meaning. He makes me feel more comfortable in my own skin."
