Elle Macpherson Engaged To Miami Hotel Owner Jeffrey Soffer; Macpherson Will Move To Florida To Be With Fiancé

Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson got engaged to her boyfriend, businessman Jeffrey Soffer, in news released on Sunday, March 10.  

Elle Macpherson's new fiancé, Soffer, has been recovering from a helicopter crash in the Bahamas that occurred in November.

Access Hollywood reported that Elle Macpherson and Jeffrey Soffer got engaged after reconnecting with each other following the crash that broke Soffer's back and killed his friend.

Macpherson is planning to move to Florida to be with Soffer, a real-estate developer, according to a source for the entertainment news show.

Elle Macpherson's representative hasn't commented on the engagement rumors.

Macpherson teased fans about the news on Friday, March 8, by tweeting "Ring magic!!!" to her followers, accompanied by a picture of the London Eye big wheel.

Macpherson dated Soffer for two years before they broke up last March.

If rumors of Macpherson's engagement are true, this will be her second time getting married.

Macpherson's previous husband was photographer Gilles Bensimon, who she married in 1986, but broke up three years later.

She has two sons from her past relationship with Frenchman Arpad Busson, who recently had a child with current girlfriend Uma Thurman.
