Demi Lovato Bares Curves For 'Cosmopolitan' Magazine Photoshoot; Singer Gives Tell-All Interview!
Demi Lovato bared some skin in her "Cosmopolitan" magazine photoshoot where she graces the cover of the September issue. However, the singer bared more than just her body.
She also obliged the magazine to a tell-all interview, talking mostly about her five-year relationship with Wilmer Valderrama, according to E! News.
In her candid interview with "Cosmopolitan", the "Cool for the Sumer" singer revealed that her relationship with Valderrama is no fairy tale.
"We started dating when I turned 18," she told Cosmopolitan. "Right after that, I went to rehab."
"People told him, 'You should probably leave. She's on a spiral, and you're going to be sucked down with it.' But he was like, 'I'm not leaving. This is somebody I really care about,'" she recalled.
Lovato also said that her boyfriend has "seen a lot of stuff, too".
She didn't deny that throughout their 5-year relationship, they have called it quits and gotten back together a few times over the years, mostly due to her fault.
"The only times we ever broke up were when I was relapsing, whether it was drugs or in a bad place and rebelling against everybody, not just him," the 22-year-old singer told the magazine.
Although Demi Lovato's sexy "Cosmopolitan" magazine photoshoot is the height of the upcoming issue, her no-holds-barred interview revealed much about the singer and her current state of mind. It seems that the "Camp Rock" star sees things more clearly now.
"People say that relapses happen before you use," she said. "Your mind starts setting up the relapse before you take that drink or that first hit. The times we'd broken up, I had already gone to that place of, 'Yeah, this is what's happening.' I didn't realize it at the time."
"But I just wanted to sabotage everything around me so that I could sabotage myself."
Demi Lovato's daring "Cosmopolitan" magazine photoshoot aside, it looks like her relationship with 35-year-old Valderrama is stronger than ever.
