Avril Lavigne Leaves Snubs Divorce Rumors With Chad Kroeger As She Returns On Stage!

Avril Lavignehas snubbed yet again the divorce rumors involving her and husband Chad Kroeger that began circulating last year as she returned on stage for the Special Olympics.

Canadian pop-rock princess Avril Lavigne looked worry-free despite the divorce issue with Chad Kroeger when she performed her returning single "Fly" at the Special Olympics World Games opening ceremony held in Los Angeles.

"Thank you to everyone who supports the Avril Lavigne Foundation," she said in her Instagram post.

The rock star also added, "It has been a difficult year fighting through Lyme disease for me and I am so happy to have made it on stage tonight for the first performance in a year."

Avril Lavigne said that she wrote the song for "people who are facing challenges, to encourage strength and to empower," Independent said in a report.

The 30-year-old "My Happy Ending" hit maker is currently recovering from Lyme disease, which caused her to be bed-ridden last year up to the early months of 2015.

Aside from shrugging off divorce rumors with her husband and Nickelback front man Chad Kroeger, Avril Lavigne is now focusing on her comeback in the industry.

But Avril Lavigne stressed that aside from returning to the music scene, she is looking forward to making movies in the future.

"My next goal in life is moviemaking! I want to act in a Christmas movie, horror film, comedy, and more. After music, art, acting, and fashion design are my passions," Avril Lavigne told to US Magazine.

Late last year, rumors emerged that Avril Lavigne will soon file for divorce against Chad Kroeger.

It was reported that the Canadian couple has not been spotted together in their outings. In their separate appearances, the "Complicated" singer and the Nickelback frontman were even spotted without their wedding rings, prompting rumors that their relationship is on the rocks.

Avril Lavigne clarified the issue during a live interview saying that her husband has been very supportive of her all throughout the course of her battle with the chronic fatigue syndrome.
