Katie Holmes, Daughter Suri Cruise Get Playful; Tom Cruise's Girls Show Off Pins

Katie Holmes and daughter Suri showed off their fashion flair as they try to flee the paparazzi while they head into her apartment in New York on Wednesday.

"The 36-year-old actress wore a powder blue blouse tucked into her form-fitting denims, revealing her taut midriff during their rushed outing," said Daily Mail. "The former Dawson's Creek starlet tied back her brunette tresses in a windblown bun and shielded her eyes behind a pair of dark designer brand shades."

Meanwhile, Suri, Katie Holmes' daughter with Tom Cruise, wore a light pink dress that stopped short of her leg. She also tied her hair into pigtails and rocked pink Uggs boots.

Katie Holmes and daughter Suri have been making the streets of New York their personal runway as they oftentimes wore matching clothes but still showcase their individual styles.

But Tom Cruise's ex committed a bit of fashion faux after she was snapped in a black dress and white sneakers while walking around New York. Then on Tuesday, Katie Holmes was caught again by the paparazzi as she wore printed bright red leggings which she paired with a denim jacket and a pair of black stilettos.

"While the leggings wouldn't be out of place at SoulCycle, they didn't quite gel with her denim shirt, star-adorned silver backpack and striking black and gold stilettos," said Australia's News.com. "Granted, the typically stylish actress has shown a willingness to experiment with her outfits before."

The website also pointed out Tom Cruise's ex affinity for menswear in an interview at the sidelines of the Fashion Week back in February.

Katie Holmes reportedly said, "I really love the colors for women that will be coming out for the fall, but I have to admit that I do love to wear men's pieces. Long men's trenches are the way to go ... I have long arms, so they reach the length of my body better than a women's coat can."
