Big Bang To Celebrate 9th Anniversary With Special Naver V App Broadcast

Ever-popular K-pop act Big Bang and their fans, affectionately called VIPs, hit a milestone this week with the group's ninth anniversary since debut!

On August 19, Big Bang celebrated their anniversary with a series of images posted on their SNS accounts announcing the celebratory date and thanking fans for all their support over the years.

In addition to the social media posts, it has been revealed that Big Bang will be treating fans to a special series via Naver's "V" App. According to Korea Herald, Big Bang's label YG Entertainment announced that Big Bang will host a series of individual broadcasts through the app. All five members are scheduled to take turns, simultaneously hosting a live show while interacting with fans across the world every Wednesday during the month of September.

Additionally, Big Bang is hoping to cheer up their fans who are disappointed by the delay in release of the group's new album.

This is not the first time Big Bang has appeared on the app. Earlier this month they met fans during their "Big Bang Countdown Live MADE Series" stream which allowed the members of Big Bang to ring in the reveal of their latest MADE Series [E] tracks "Let's Not Fall in Love" and "Zutter" with their fans.

Naver's "V" app is a real-time broadcasting service that allows fans the opportunity to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. Since its release, the app garnered over 610,000 downloads in only one day and continues to be a popular iOS and Android download all over the world.
