Selena Gomez Ditches Purity Ring For Justin Bieber? ‘Good For You’ Singer Has No Regrets Falling In Love!

Selena Gomez recently talked about the purity ring she once wore in her teenage years and how she took it off when she started dating Justin Bieber.

The 23-year-old former Disney star said that she was not embarrassed about wearing her promise ring when she was 13.

Selena Gomez said that she talked to her dad regarding the promise ring, which he had blessed at a church. The "I Want You to Know" singer wore it while she was dating former boyfriend Nick Jonas, who was also wearing his own chastity ring.

According to a report by The Hollywood Life, Selena Gomez has noticeably removed her purity ring when she started dating "Baby" hit maker Justin Bieber.

But the singer revealed she is not embarrassed to wear the ring and thereafter removing it after she realized that is was not for her.

"I'm not embarrassed to say that. I'm also not embarrassed to say that the ring has come off," the "Behaving Badly" star told The Sunday Times.

She added, "Sometimes you have to lie to yourself to get through the criticism, and then you're in your closet crying. It has been like that for me a couple of times, but I only want to learn from those things."

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber dated on-and-off for three years until they called it quits last year.

But the "Come & Get It" hit maker said that she did not regret falling in love with the "Baby" singer.

"I didn't think I was doing anything bad by falling in love," the singer and actress said.

"There's such an emphasis on people being the perfect thing and then destroying them because it's good press. Also throw in the fact that you are a teenager - it makes it more difficult."

After her failed relationship with the "Boyfriend" singer, Selena Gomez briefly dated German DJ and "Stay the Night" hit maker Zedd.

She is now rumored to be seeing again her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas.
