Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's Marriage In Trouble Because of Jessie J? Details Released!

The onscreen tension between Jessie J and Joel Madden has reportedly affected his marriage to Nicole Richie as rumors abound that the "The Voice Australia" judges' fighting may just be a cover-up to their alleged flirting.

In an item on OK! Magazine, it was mentioned that both "The Voice Australia" judges act differently with each other off camera.

"Joel and Jessie are very flirty behind the scenes," an insider revealed. "She enjoys teasing him, and he gives as good as he gets."

The development seemed to have worried Richie and she has apparently asked Madden to put some boundaries in dealing with Jessie J.

"Nicole was very upset," another source told the gossip site. "She demanded Joel steer clear of Jessie."

Just last May, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's marriage also went through some challenges with rumors circulating that they may be headed for divorce. As reported by In Touch Weekly then, Richie has apparently even made efforts to look for a divorce lawyer.

Neither Richie nor Madden confirmed the divorce rumors. But in July reports surfaced that the possible end of the marriage was reportedly stopped thanks to Benjie Madden and Cameron Diaz.

"Cam has persuaded Nicole to stop her divorce proceedings for now," a source shared to Life & Style. "Ever since Cam got married, Nicole's been turning to her for advice."

"Benji loves Nicole and Joel and thinks they can work it out," the source added. "If they just spend more time together and stop making their careers a priority."

A month later, the purported advice seemingly has been working out for the couple. In a report on PopSugar, several pictures of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden along with their children Harlow and Sparrow were compiled to show that the foursome can be an inspiration for family goals. Madden even posted a picture with Richie weeks ago referring to both of them as "home team."
