MBC Launches YouTube Channels

MBC one of the largest broadcasting companies in South Korea launched a YouTube channel today on January 9, 2012. They now have 4 different channels, MBC World, MBC Drama, MBC Entertainment, and MBC K-Pop.

MBC World will be used to introduce various MBC events. Other channels are used to show drama, variety show and music programs.

Already each channel has clips that play around 5 minutes long. MBC plans to add nearly 10,000 hours of drama and variety show content. The ‘K-Pop Concert’ in April will broadcast live through the channel.

A content distribution agreement has been made between MBC and YouTube on October 21, 2011.
