Caitlyn Jenner's reality show reportedly reached its lowest rating since it aired a little over a month ago. Rumors have also been circulating about how the former Olympian wants help from her ex-wife, Kris Jenner.
According to a report from Radar Online, Caitlyn Jenner's reality show "I Am Cait" gathered only 1.02million US viewers for its fifth episode.
The underwhelming number is far from the 17million viewers who watched the father-of-six's tell-all interview with ABC veteran anchor Diane Sawyer. It was during the said interview wherein the decathlon champion formerly known as Bruce Jenner admitted that she identifies herself as a woman.
The number of viewers who watched the tell-all raised the expectations of E! network as to the audience who will follow Caitlyn Jenner's reality show. However, the disappointing ratings of "I Am Cait" has reportedly even pushed her to ask Kris Jenner to make her part of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" again.
According to a report from Mirror UK, an insider has denied that Caitlyn Jenner asked help from the infamous Kardashian-Jenner "momager."
"This is not true," the insider clarified. "She has her own show."
Another report from Radar Online revealed that network executives are thinking of helping "I Am Cait" ratings by moving Caitlyn Jenner's reality show after "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
"'I Am Cait' is losing viewers every week. So E! has decided that for the second season, it will air after 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians,'" an insider explained.
The 65-year-old transgender is allegedly very upset that she seemingly needs to rely on Kris Jenner to boost "I Am Cait" ratings.
"Caitlyn isn't happy that once again, she will be dependent on the Kardashians for success," a source said.
"She absolutely hates losing to Kris."
"Kris has been telling producers at E! that if she had been involved with "I Am Cait" from the beginning, it would have been a hit," the source added.
