Chris Brown Slams Daughter’s Mom Amid Messy Custody Battle; Nia Guzman Issues Official Statement

Chris Brown slammed his daughter's mother in the heat of their on-going custody battle. Nia Guzman responded to the R&B star's allegations by finally issuing an official statement.

According to a report from TMZ, joint custody is being pushed by Chris Brown for his daughter, one-year-old Royalty Brown. However, Nia Guzman reportedly wants full custody of the child because of the "Ayo" singer's wild celebrity lifestyle.

Just recently, the former music video vixen was caught off-guard in their custody battle when her boyfriend, King Ba, was declared wanted by the law for felony forgery. His name is reflected as the father Royalty Brown's birth certificate. The man has reportedly been living with Nia Guzman.

Now that King Ba's legal woes have been exposed, Chris Brown believes his daughter would be better off with him. The Grammy winner is reportedly eager for their custody trial to start so that he could explain to the judge why Nia Guzman should share Royalty Brown with him.

The controversial singer even insinuated that Nia Guzman might be involved in King Ba's illegal activities.

In a report from BET, Nia Guzman finally explained her side of the story by issuing an official statement through her legal representative.

"The allegations that have been made against Nia Guzman are completely false," her rep read.

"Nia has not been in a dating relationship with Ba for several months and she has no criminal record and has never took part in any criminal activity with Ba."

Nia Guzman's statement also explained that she is not after Chris Brown's money.

They have reportedly been disagreeing over financial matters for Royalty Brown, since Chris Brown's $2,500 a month provision is far from Nia Guzman's request for $15,000 in monthly child support.

"Nia is not trying to obtain fame or additional money from Chris Brown other than the child support that is expected for the raising of their child," her statement read.

"She asks that the press and general public would stop hurling false accusations at her and her daughter."
