Khloe Kardashian Finally Over Lamar Odom? Friends Confirm TV Star Is Happier With James Harden

Khloe Kardashian seems to be finally over Lamar Odom. According to a report from E! Online, friends of the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star have confirmed that the youngest Kardashian sister is happier with James Harden.

"[They're] great!" said Khloe Kardashian's friend, Khadijah Haqq McCray.

"She's very happy [and] she deserves it."

Someone who witnessed Khloe Kardashian's ordeal with Lamar Odom is her good friend, Malika Haqq. The TV star's BFF shared that her friend seems to have moved on from her failed marriage with the help of her new athlete beau.

"Khloé's really happy," said Malika Haqq.

The star of upcoming Kardashian spinoff "DASH Dolls" also gushed about the surprise birthday party that Khloe Kardashian organized for James Harden.

"It was a blast!" Malika Haqq said about the L.A. birthday bash. "Honestly, I don't think there's anyone who's been to a Kardashian affair that was not a blast."

Prior to her friends' confirmation, Khloe Kardashian also talked about Lamar Odom when she was recently featured in Complex magazine.

"I talk to Lamar as often as I can, which is inconsistent, but not on my terms," she explained.

"When you genuinely feel like that was the right relationship, you're supposed to give it all you can. That's what marriage is about. It's not, 'Let's see if it works, if not we always have divorce.'I am not one of those girls."

"I took a vow before God and you're supposed to abide by that," she pointed out.

According to a previous report from People magazine, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom got married in 2009 after just a month of dating.

The reality star eventually filed for divorce in 2013 following rumors that Lamar Odom cheated on her. The former NBA star has also allegedly been struggling with addiction to alcohol and illegal drugs.

Life and Style magazine reported that Lamar Odom's substance abuse issues were the real reasons why Khloe Kardashian recently finalized their divorce.

"Lamar had really cut back [using drugs] because he wanted to reconcile with Khloé so badly... [but] Lamar has fallen off the rails again," a source shared last summer.

"She knows she is totally in love with a drug addict but she's now realizing it's time to move on and divorce him."
