SM Entertainment Launches 10 Corso Como Seoul Collaboration Project, Dress Like Your Fave SM Idol!
K-Pop idols have always been fashion icons since the early days with idols like Baby VOX and H.O.T. (and boy are we glad those baggy clothes and awful haircuts stayed in the 90s).
Nowadays Korean pop groups are at the forefront of the fashion world where they heavily influence trends and styles. Fans often go far and wide in search of clothes and accessories that help them look like their favorite singing fashionistas. Hairstyles and cosmetics used and promoted by idols are also highly sought after by teenagers around the globe.
Therefore it is only fitting that to celebrate their 5th anniversary, Seoul design company 10 Corso Como collaborated with some of the biggest names in the business to release a line of must-have products for any K-Pop super fan.
The Seoul Collaboration Project features five accessories to accompany a compilation album of SM Entertainment artists.
Girls' Generation (SNSD) - Track: "Trick" Accessory: Carven Collar
These subtly graphic collars are reminiscent of the scenic patterns popularized by the French East India Company in the 17th century, but with a 'wild' twist. They feature a safari theme and are funky and unique, yet soft and feminine, just like the SNSD girls themselves.
f(x) - Track: "Ice Cream" Accessory: Audio Technica Headphones
Boldly colored with simple animal line drawings on the earpieces, these headphones are probably the most sensical of the products offered in the Seoul Collaboration. What better way to blend your music and your fashion than by rocking out to some great f(x) tunes with your f(x) inspired headset?
TVXQ - Track: "Before You Go" Accessory: Be@rbrick Figure
Tiny bear figures sporting suits and nicely quaffed hair? Yes, please! While there is literally no use for these cute little figurines, it probably won't matter in the slightest to TVXQ fans. After all, it is really just about showing your loyalty to the group anyway.
Super Junior - Track: "Sexy, Free and Single" Accessory: SUPER Sunglasses
Now fans can imitate more than just Super Junior's dance moves with these sexy sunglasses. Added bonus - they are released just for the nice spring weather! These sleek tortoiseshell shades are just right for either sex and we can expect to see fans roaming the Seoul city streets in them soon.
SHINee - Track: "Hello" Accessory: Thom Brown Cardigan
I'm sure fangirls can agree that any of the SHINee guys would make an excellent boyfriend. But in their (unfortunate) absence, at least we can have sweater to remind us of those sexy idols. Or more likely, an actual boyfriend who dresses like them! A preppy button-down would be a nice addition to any K-Pop fan's wardrobe.
