Chris Brown Prioritizing His Daughter; Ramps Up Security Amid Custody Battle With Nia Guzman

Chris Brown is reportedly prioritizing his daughter by ramping up security amid a custody battle with baby mama Nia Guzman.

According to a report from TMZ, the "Loyal" singer is closely monitoring his entire entourage, dancers, and crew involved in his current "One Hell of a Nite" tour. The R&B star reportedly even hired 5 new bodyguards, one of which to keep watch on his money and his jewelry.

Chris Brown is also allegedly limiting backstage access to those who really know him.

The Grammy-winning recording artist's extra security measures are reportedly due to his upcoming court hearing with Nia Guzman. He is said to be extra cautious of any missteps that could be used against him by the mother of his one-year-old child, Royalty Brown.

Aside from his own security, Chris Brown is reportedly worried for his daughter's safety.

According to a report from Hollywood Life, the singer is scared following felony reports involving Nia Guzman's current boyfriend and Royalty Brown's birth certificate father, King Ba.

"He fears the police are going to show up at Nia's house, guns drawn and busting down her door with Royalty inside the house," an insider shared.

"He can't sleep thinking about the myriad of dangerous outcomes that can happen with Royalty being present."

Per BET, Nia Guzman insists that Chris Brown's daughter is safe with her amid King Ba's legal issues.

"Nia has not been in a dating relationship with Ba for several months and she has no criminal record and has never took part in any criminal activity with Ba," she said via a rep.

A detailed statement was issued by Nia Guzman in preparation for her custody case hearing with Chris Brown for their daughter. The former music video model even addressed criticisms that have been thrown her way, particularly her requested monthly child support of $15,000 - more than five times Chris Brown's current $2,500 per month contribution.

"Nia is not trying to obtain fame or additional money from Chris Brown other than the child support that is expected for the raising of their child," her statement read.

"She asks that the press and general public would stop hurling false accusations at her and her daughter."
