'Gentleman' Confirmed As Psy's New Single Title

Psy finally revealed the title to his new single, "Gentleman," on MBC's News Desk Monday.

YG Entertainment, Psy's label, confirmed on Monday that the K-Pop phenomenon will unveil his highly anticipated new single, Gentleman, on April 12. He will then showcase the song the following day during his Seoul concert.

The record company also said that, "the new song 'Gentleman' will have a fast tempo that will make people really excited." An official from YG also added they are currently putting the final touches on the song which will "be largely in a Korean style."

"Gentleman," as with "Gangnam Style," was written and composed by Psy with the help of renowned Korean producer and songwriter, Yoo Gun-hyung.

Another song had previously been written and named "Assarabia" but soon after was retracted so as not to offend any fans that may misinterpret the lyrics.

The Korean rapper-singer had to get back to the drawing board and announced via his Twitter last week that he was finally finished with the new single and had come up with a pretty hilarious music video concept as well.

After "Gentleman" is officially released and performed live in front of 50,000 fans in Seoul and countless millions on the internet via a live YouTube stream, Psy will set out on an tour to promote the track around the world. From April to June, Psy will make stops in North America, Europe and throughout Asia spreading his new image of a "Gentleman."
