Kit Harington News: Actor Regrets Doing ‘Game Of Thrones’? Accidentally Says Jon Snow Is Alive?

Kit Harington has been quite mum on the fate of his character on "Game of Thrones." But in one interview, it was claimed that the Jon Snow actor accidentally slipped some good news to reveal the character is alive.

According to a report on The Independent, one Reddit user shared that the actor blurted the information while on an interview with a Dutch magazine.

"I can't talk about that," Harington said based on the Reddit user translation. "Let's just say that 'Game of Thrones' will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over."

The actor, as mentioned by the report, is 28-years-old.

But while many fans remain hooked on news about Jon Snow being alive in "Game of Thrones," Kit Harington, on the other hand, purportedly can't wait to get the show over with.

"One thing's for sure: the day I'm no longer on Thrones is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects (laughs)," he said in the translated interview as quoted by The Independent.

He even apparently opened up on the same interview about his frustration on the show.

"I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to "Game of Thrones," he said. "So the show is like a double-edged sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but, at the same time, it has almost completely drained me. Oh well, I try not to think about it too much."

This year though, Harington also starred in the movie "Spooks: The Greater Good." In an interview with Melty, he expressed his excitement on the new venture but also showed some apparent disgust on his Jon Snow character.

"I really wanted to play a spy," he told the source above. "Every boy runs around with a fake gun and tries to shoot things! I think it is quite a childish thing, actually... [but] I wanted to do this because it was a great story."

"God, I hope I'm not like Jon Snow." he also reiterated in the same interview. "He's so grumpy."             

It remains unclear if the news about Kit Harington's GOT character being alive was true. It was not mentioned as well when the interview with the Dutch magazine happened. But back in 2014, The Hollywood Reporter mentioned in an article that he apparently signed on for season 7 of the show with a big raise.
