Ellen DeGeneres Annoyed Of Caitlyn Jenner’s Gay Marriage Comments? Trans Bombarded With Flaks

After her guesting at Ellen DeGeneres' talk show, Caitlyn Jenner has now become the talk of the town after her comments about gay marriage drew flaks, and might have even caused the host to get annoyed.

In her "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" appearance on Sept. 8, the 65-year-old former Olympic gold medallist was expressed that marriage is still about the union of a man and a woman, according to "Us" magazine.

"I'm a traditionalist," the TV personality said. "I'm older than most people in the audience. I kind of like tradition, and it's always been a man and a woman. I'm thinking, 'I don't quite get it.'"

Caitlyn Jenner's interview with Ellen DeGeneres was her first after coming out on "Vanity Fair" magazine as a transgender in July.

With her "discriminating" comments, the former husband of Kris Jenner earned the ire of several netizens.

"I keep saying that this man is a CROSS DRESSER not TRANS he isn't ready for that , he just wants to wear women's clothing," commented Waitaminute2.

This was supported by DiannaD by sharing this, "Me too! He is not a transsexual. He is a transvestite. And an obvious, manly one at that."

As for a certain YRhino, the argument really is, "So Caitlin, if you're really a woman trapped in a man's body and you've been married to several woman, haven't you actually been in SEVERAL same sex marriages yourself??"

Meanwhile, some other readers speculated that Ellen DeGeneres got "annoyed" with Caitlyn Jenner's answers during the interview.

"Ellen seemed a little annoyed in this interview," wrote BB37.

"I also interpreted it the same way," a certain Matilda said. "Ellen looked annoyed and somewhat uncomfortable during the interview. Glad to know I wasn't the only one who thought that."

In the meantime, the 57-year-old host talked opened up about the incident with US radio host Howard Stern, Mail Online reported.

"She still has a judgment about gay marriage," she noted.

The multi-awarded host added that since the "I Am Cait" star wants other people to "understand and accept" her, her gesture during the show was just something contrary to it.

"You're wanting people to understand and accept you," Ellen DeGeneres pointed out when she explained her thoughts about Caitlyn Jenner's statement. "This is like really confusing to people and you still have a judgment about gay people and marriage. I don't fully understand all of that."
